DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC

Dr. Matthew Turner

Dr. Turner joined Optimal Health Matters after having great private practice experiences in New Jersey and South Carolina. He completed his chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University.

Dr. Turner has dedicated his life to studying and applying the best that natural health care has to offer and has helped many chiropractic patients in the Highlands Ranch and Denver area recover from injuries caused by automobile accidents, sports injuries and other trauma-related injuries. Dr. Turner's long list of patients includes elite athletes and weekend warriors, automobile and work-related accident victims, babies and people just like you who are ready to reach peak performance in all areas of life.

Dr. Turner believes in a safe, gentle and effective whole-body chiropractic approach. He uses natural, drug-free methods to maintain your optimal health including chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic exercise, nutritional counseling and Kinesio-Taping. His "whole body" approach to healthcare includes supporting his patients' health and fitness concerns and integrating exercise, diet and stress management into his treatment plans.

In addition to being an expert in the care of automobile accident injuries, sports-related-injuries and on-the job injuries, Dr. Turner specializes in treating extremity conditions (e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, hip bursitis, knee tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, heel and foot pain, and elbow and wrist conditions, among others).

When not at work, Dr. Turner enjoys spending time with his friends, trail running, snowboarding, biking, hiking, traveling, eating good food, and relentlessly researching the latest techniques and nutritional supplements to find new methods of improving his Highlands Ranch patients' health.

 

DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC

Dr. Natalie Hydock

Dr. Natalie Hydock was born and raised in upstate New York. Growing up she was an all season athlete in high school and attributed her ability to continue to play to her hometown chiropractor. She attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Her love of athletics and seeing first-hand how powerful chiropractic can impact overall health and wellbeing is what drove her decision to become a chiropractor. 

She then attended Logan University in St Louis, MO with specialized coursework in sports emergency care, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Diversified, SOT, Thompson Drop, Cox Flexion-Distraction, instrument assisted soft tissue, dry needling and extremity adjusting. She had the honor of completing sports-specific clinical rotations during her education that included working with sports teams at the University of Missouri.

She has recently located to Denver to pursue her love of the outdoors through hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking and taking her two dogs for walks. Dr. Natalie is also an avid olympic weightlifter. She understands how pain and injury can keep you from completing your job, enjoying your free time at your chosen sport, or even playing with your kids. She is passionate about injury prevention and about getting you back on the field, mountain, or trail as soon as you can. Her mission is for help her patients to move better, so they can feel better and get back to doing what matters most. 

 

LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Andie Patzer, LMT

With almost 20 years of experience, Andie finds true value in a therapeutic, neuromuscular style massage. This includes myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, and patience. After her pregnancies, she also found a new love working with expecting moms. Her ultimate goal is for you to feel better long term, not just while you're on her table. Andie graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and from then continued her studies at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy.

Ashley Nilsson

Ashley is our office manager! She’s here to greet you when you come in for your appointment, help you with any scheduling needs, and answer the phone when you call.

She moved here from California, and she has greatly enjoyed exploring Colorado’s natural beauty! When she isn’t in the office, you can find her chasing after her three boys, taking her Bernese Mountain Dog on long walks, spending time with family and friends, hiking, or planning her next travel adventure.
